Some TVs fail to display when my HDMI video switcher outputs to them. To troubleshoot this, check the following:
First, try using the HDMI cable from a working LCD TV on the non-working one to determine if the problem lies with the HDMI switcher's interface (or the HDMI cable) or the TV's interface.
Next, check the following:
Is the correct signal source selected on the TV after connecting the HDMI switcher?
Is the HDMI cable connecting the HDMI switcher to the LCD TV too long? Generally, using a full-copper HDMI cable allows for longer connections. An excessively long cable can also cause the TV to not display.
For HDMI switchers, it's recommended to choose a 3-to-1 or 5-to-1 switcher based on the number of signal sources. Active HDMI switchers can support longer HDMI cable connections to the LCD TV.
